The Tamiya Blast Arrow Starter Set

I actually got this Mini 4wd for my birthday.

But anyway, this is a starter kit, so it comes with a whole manner of hop ups. It comes with weights, a fast motor and carbon fiber front and back roller holders.(if that is what you call them, comment if you know what they are called. It would really help!!!) 

A look at the car with its shell off. You can see the rear weights and carbon fiber roller holders.

One thin about this kit is that it also came with brakes. No, not break discs..... bits of rubbery material that you stick on the under side of the cars rear. This is effective when racing because when you land a jump your car wont go completely mad and fly off the track or your lane. Black rubber is a lower grip than the grey rubber, the grey rubber is very sticky and slows you down a lot. 

The Chassis

You can see the Chassis is an MS chassis with the motor in the middle and the battery holders on either side.

The chassis is an MS chassis and I think MS is one of the best chassis because the weight(the motor) is in the middle and not weighing down the rear of the car. I'm saying that the weight is evenly proportioned on the MS chassis. And I guess you could also add some rollers or weights to the middle roller holders. 

 The Shell

This top down view of the car with the shell on really makes you see how streamlined the car is.

The shell is a very streamlined shell as you can see from the above picture. It looks like a GT racer with the small cabin in the middle of the car. The stickers look amazing too. The red, white and blue colour scheme really works for this car. The red rollers also add to the effect. The shell has a nose cone that you have to clip on and also a spoiler that you have to clip on.

 

Car Overview and Tips

From these pictures you can see the front and rear ends of the car, both of them looking completely amazing. You could purchase some new wheels for the car and also add some more weights. There are endless hop ups as well for Mini 4wds that you can get for really cheap from Banzai Hobby:
